Okta Verify

Okta Verify is a multi-factor authentication (MFA) app developed by Okta. It allows users to verify their identity when they sign into Okta, making it less likely that someone pretending to be the user can gain access to the account. Okta Verify adds a level of convenience to the user authentication process, enables users to verify their identity with a single tap on their mobile device, and provides immediate application access while retaining a high level of security.

Okta Verify offers two authentication methods:

  1. Time-Based On-Time Password (TOTP) codes generated by an app like Google Authenticator.
  2. Confirm a push notification sent directly to your device through the Okta Verify app
