Types of Course Content
In your Blackboard courses, you can add a variety of content, such as online lectures, multimedia, tests, assignments, and links to websites.
Create Learning Modules for Content
You can use learning modules in your course as containers for organized collections of content. Modules let students navigate from one content item to the next without distractions or extra clicks.
Content Collection
You can use the Content Collection to organize, share, and reuse content.

Add a File

Copy Content from Other Courses
You can copy entire courses or select individual items from other courses you’re currently teaching or have taught in the past. You can also combine items from multiple courses with a full course copy or individual item copies by selecting them.
Import Course Packages
You can import a course package from a previous course or from another instructor. When you import content, the content comes over in bulk—all of the content comes over at once. This information also applies to organizations.
Batch Edit
You can use Batch Edit to update common settings across all content, such as visibility and due dates. You can also use the tool to delete a group of selected course content. With Batch Edit, you can control content settings in one place and all at once.
Content Release Conditions
Use visibility settings and release conditions to define when students can view and access course content.
Progress Tracking and Student Progress Reports
Progress tracking gives your students an easy way to keep track of what they've done in your course. You can turn progress tracking on at any time.
Course Banner
Instructors have the ability to upload an image to serve as the course banner within their courses. The course banner also appears in the grid view of the Courses page of Learn’s base navigation.
