Review Assignment Feedback in the Ultra Course View

When to Use?

When your instructor posts your assignment grade, they may also include feedback for you to review. You can access that feedback by following the instructions below or by watching the video.

Procedure

  • To review your grade and feedback in context, access the assignment in your course by using the same link you used to submit your assignment.
  • Select View Submission to view your submitted work and instructor feedback.
  • NOTE: As an alternative, navigate to the Gradebook and click on the name of the assignment in the Item Name list.
  • On the Final Grade page you will see the Attempt feedback for the assignment in the panel on the right. If your instructor included audio or video feedback, it would appear here, as well. Select the recording to open the playback window.
  • If your instructor annotated a file you uploaded as your submission, you can view the annotations in line.
  • When in line viewing is on, you can view submitted files in the browser. Many file types open in the viewer, but only certain types of files can be annotated.
  • Point to a comment icon to view your instructor's comments and select highlighted text to see if your instructor provided a comment.
