Description
Our eLearning Technology team offers a wide variety of support options for our Learning Management System (LMS) Blackboard. Please choose from the options on the right for the type of request you need to submit. Details on each request type are below:
- eLearn/Bb Help - for general help with any eLearning Technology, Blackboard or any integrations
- Enroll User Request - to add a user enrollment to a course or organization
- NOTE: Any guest or student enrollments in Banner semester course sites, including incompletes, captioners and tutors, must use the Registrar's Office form to request access. **VPN access is required for Registrar's Office form.
- NOTE: The Instructor of Record (IoR) must make any request to add users to any Banner semester course site. We will wait for IoR permission before processing any enrollment requests.
- Site Creation - to have a course, organization, or template site created
- Restore- to have a course or organization site restored from the archive
- Note: archived course/org sites are only kept for 3 academic years
- Merge Sites- to request two or more Banner course sites be combined into a new parent course for the semester
- User Creation- to request a guest account to Blackboard for a non-GVSU employee
- Note: Access to any GVSU student information (i.e., Banner-created course sites) is not allowed without the Registrar's Office approval. Use their form to request access before submitting a user creation request
- 3rd Party Integration - to request an external/3rd party integration to Blackboard be installed or upgraded.
- Temp Bb Account - The Department Chair or Professional Support Staff can request a temporary Blackboard user account for a confirmed new hire. Details here.
