Copying an Entire Blackboard Classic Course Into Blackboard Ultra - Demonstration

When to Use?

Due to structural differences between Blackboard Classic and Blackboard Ultra, copying an entire Classic course into Ultra is not recommended.  Blackboard Ultra only allows content to be 3 layers deep. Items like ‘nested’ folders (more than 2 deep), publisher integrations, surveys, some question types in tests, etc. can disrupt the course copy process.  Faculty are also encouraged to consult with their eLearning liaisons about their specific course needs.  Faculty can also export/import content from Classic to Ultra which is a slightly different process than copying.  And their liaison can also help them understand the differences between copying and exporting/importing course content. Review the video to learn more.
