When to Use?

Block styling options have been added to documents, providing instructors with additional tools to enhance visual presentation and effectively guide student focus.

Procedure

The styling options feature both color and icons. The style options include: 

  • Question
  • Tip
  • Key points
  • Next steps
  • Highlight 

This update helps instructors create more engaging content.

Styling options added to content items in a document.

 

To add a block styling option, hover your mouse over the content block. The block menu will appear, displaying four icons. The third icon, which resembles a paint palette, will appear. Click on this icon to access the block styling options menu.

The question option is represented by a ?. The tip option is represented by a light bulb. Key points is represented by a pin. Next steps is represented by two arrows. The reset styling option at the bottom shows two arrows circling each other.

 

The block styling option appears in the upper left corner of the content item.
