Information Technology is responsible for the technology procurement process. We are responsible for acquiring computer equipment for GVSU faculty and staff using university funds. Please utilize this form to request a quote for new technology acquisitions or technology replacements.
To request a technology acquisition quote, click on the "SUBMIT A TICKET" option in the right-hand navigation menu. Please note that this form is designed for one request per person and does not accommodate multiple user requests.
NOTE: IT Project requests need to fill out the project request form. IT Project examples include but are not limited to:
- New software or server implementations
- Upgrades to current solutions
- Network installation/configuration
- Technology installations
- System integrations

This service is available to all Faculty and Staff.
How to Access and Use
Please take a moment to fill out the form by clicking on "Submit a Ticket" to request a quote for purchasing technology. Please note that this form is designed for one request per person and does not accommodate multiple user requests.

Complete the Form: Fill out all the required fields, the more information you provide, the better!

Submit a Ticket: After you’ve filled in the required fields, click Submit a Ticket.

More information: If additional information or approval is needed, the ticket will be returned for more information or reassigned for additional approval.

Quote Response: Technology Acquisition will work with the appropriate vendors to generate a quote for your review. The quote will be attached to the ticket.

Resolved: After you receive a quote, the ticket will be resolved.

Place Order in Workday: To place the order, you will go to Workday and follow the Workday Technology Acquisition job aid, starting at step 14, to create an Internal Service Delivery that will begin the approval and procurement process.
