When to Use?
The Blackboard profile picture that instructors and students can upload shows in several areas of your Blackboard course site.
Follow these instructions to update your profile picture.
Procedure
Where do profile pictures appear?
In the Ultra experience, user profile pictures appear next to their activity throughout courses and on individual profile pages. Instructor profile pictures also appear on their course cards on the Courses page. If users don't upload profile pictures, a generic silhouette appears in these areas.
Instructor profile pictures appear on course content pages, rosters, and in discussions, conversations, and messages next to their activity. Student profile pictures appear in rosters, the gradebook, and next to their activity.
1. Open your course and in the “Details and Actions” list select “Roster”.
2. On the “Roster” page, you will see a list of all the course members and their associated profile pictures.
Users do have the ability to control who can see their profile information. These settings can be changed on the Profile page in Ultra Base Navigation by clicking on “Privacy Settings” in the System Settings module.
In the “Privacy Settings” layer/panel that opens users can select from three available options.
