When to Use?
If you have received a ticket to apply an update to your SPSS installation because your computer has been identified as having a Log4j vulnerability. If you are using SPSS version 24 or earlier, it will be necessary to upgrade to a newer version. GVSU currently offers versions 25, 26, and 27.
Procedure
Find your version of SPSS by following these instructions for Windows and Macs: Find my SPSS version
If you have version 24 or older, you will need to download a new version and request a new license code from our Service Portal: Get SPSS and License Codes
For version 25 and newer, you will need to download a patch from SPSS located: Fixpacks, Modified releases and Interim Fixes
