How to Submit a Project Request and Attach Documents

When to Use?

When you are submitting an IT Project Request or a PMO Project Intake Request follow these instructions.

Procedure

Creating Request

1. To request a project, navigate to the Project Request Service found within the Project Management Category.

2. Select the Submit Request button located on the right side.

If you are not already signed into the Service Portal, you will be prompted to sign in using your GVSU credentials.

3. Complete the fields on the Project Request form. The red asterisk items are required.

4. Once the form is filled out in its entirety, select the Save button located at the top of the form.

Saving does not complete the project request submission it only creates a request. You must complete the following steps to submit.

5. In the yellow box click on Review and submit this request. This will take you to a new page.

6. Review the information you provided by scrolling down the page. If you have any files you want to include with your project request just drag and drop them.

7. Scroll back to the top of the page. On the left side of your screen, you will see Business Case. Click on the word Files and then click on the Mark Complete button. If you did not include any files you still need to do this step.

7. Under the Business Case you will need to click on Review and Submit. This will refresh the window. Now you can click on the Submit button.

8. Now your request has been submitted successfully.
