How to Submit a Project Request and Attach Documents

When to Use?

When you are submitting an IT or PMO Project Intake Request, follow these instructions.

Procedure

Creating Request

1. To request a project, navigate to the IT Project Request Service found within the IT Professional Services category. You will be prompted to sign in using your GVSU credentials.

2. Select the IT Project Request button located on the right side.

3. Complete the fields on the Project Request form. The red asterisk items are required.

4. Once the form is filled out in its entirety, click on the Save button located at the top of the form.

IMPORTANT: Saving only creates a draft. YOU MUST complete the following steps to submit your project request.

5. Click on the Review and Submit button. This will take you to a new page.

6. Attach Files: You can drag and drop attachments into the Files section, or select Files under Business Case on the left side menu to upload them. Once finished, click Mark Complete. This step is required even if you did not attach any files.

7. Under Business Case, click on Review and Submit. This will refresh the window. Click on the Submit button. Now your request has been submitted successfully.
