Your OneDrive Is Out of Storage Space

When to Use?

Use this knowledge base article to free up space in OneDrive. Community members without an active contract with GVSU are assigned a Microsoft A1 license, which includes 100 GB of storage.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Microsoft OneDrive via a web browser or access it from your local computer.
  2. Navigate to the "Backup Private Data" folder, then click on "My Data".

  3. Locate the "My Documents" folder and delete it. 
    Note: This folder is a secondary copy of your local "My Documents" folder.

        3. Deleting this folder will help reduce the amount of data stored in your OneDrive.
