OneDrive will be deployed to GVSU Mac computers between July 1 and August 19, 2025.
Overview
Your Mac now supports automatic backup of your Desktop and Documents folders using Microsoft OneDrive. This feature helps keep your files safe and makes them available across all your devices.
When you sign in to OneDrive, your Desktop and Documents folders start syncing automatically. You’ll also see your private DFS folder (sometimes called your N: drive) moved to OneDrive. Learn more about this change here.

- Files in your private directory (N: drive) have been moved ahead of time and will appear in your OneDrive Documents folder.
- You’ll see a cloud icon next to each file or folder that shows its sync status.
