Add a Zoom Whiteboard link to a Blackboard Course

When to Use?

Use Zoom whiteboards for collaboration in your course.

Procedure

Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.

Open a whiteboard.

At the top right of the whiteboard page, click the Share button.

In the Share whiteboard window click the Link access dropdown menu and select Anyone at Grand Valley State University.

Set the permissions for accessing the whiteboard.

Click Copy link for pasting the link into a Blackboard course, message or email.

Navigate to your Blackboard course.

Hover your cursor over the Course Content page, click the plus option and select Create from the drop-down menu. In the Create Item panel that opens select the Link option.

At the top of the page click the Web Link tab.

Set the Student visibility, enter a Display Name and paste the whiteboard link in their respective fields.

Select the Save button to create the Zoom whiteboard link. A web link appears on the Course Content page with a link icon next to the display name.
