When to Use?
This is the process for working with MAXQDA 2024, older versions will no longer work with our updated software and license.
Procedure
It is now required to use MAXQDA 2024. The software package and deployment has been updated via SCCM for both LAB and OFFICE Windows 11 environments.

MAXQDA 2024 in the LAB’s can be found on the desktop folder Lab Applications\Sociology. OFFICE machines that are using the software and are Windows 11 machines can be added to this Active Directory group by IT Services to get the new deployment package via SCCM: SCCM-MAXQDA-INSTALL to make it available in the GVSU Software Center to install by the user community.
If downloading and installing the software manually via the links above, the server and port information remain the same : Server Address: maxqda2020.gvsu.edu Port: 21989 Under “License Name”, select “Please enter license name (case sensitive)” and enter MAXQDA2024 and click on “Connect”. To install software on a Windows 11 machine, you must first submit a request for administrator permissions using this link: Windows 11 Administrator Access Request Form.
