Accessing Jupyter Lab on Clipper

When to Use?

This is a guide on how to access a JupyterLab instance using OpenOnDemand on Clipper. This can be accessed on campus or through the GVSU VPN.

Procedure

1. Access the OpenOnDemand dashboard by clicking here. You will get redirected to the Okta dashboard to login with your GVSU network account credentials.

2. You will get redirected to this landing page once you log in successfully.

3. Click on the Jupyter Server icon and fill in the instance specifications.

4. Once you have defined your instance, click launch to schedule your JupyterLab instance. This will take a few seconds to be provisioned as below.

5. Click on Connect to Jupyter Server to start your session as below.
