When to Use?
This document describes the steps used to share projects with other Posit Workbench (Rstudio Server) users. While projects can be created in a home directory, for project sharing to work, they project folder must be in /Projects.

- The field "Create project as subdirectory of:" should say "/Projects". If it doesn't (like this example), click "Browse..."

- If the "Choose Directory" window is set to Home (Folder: ~) or anything other than "/Projects", select the three dots opposite "Home."

- In the "Go To Folder" window type "/Projects" and click OK.

- Click "Choose" in the "Choose Directory" window.

- In the "Directory name" field, create an identifiable, unique name for your project and click "Create Project."
- You can use a combination of class information and user IDs to make a unique name.
- If you choose a name already in use, the project creation will display an error and you may need to start the process again.
