University Development Support

If you would like assistance with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT support or one of the following items, you can request aid via the Service Portal to University Development Request, and a team member will be in touch.

Blackbaud Support

Blackbaud encourages all customers to chat with support for help with software questions and issues: click Chat With Support from the Support Portal

Additionally, their online case portal, Case Central, allows you to review closed tickets, or log notes and attachments in open cases you’re still working on. When an associate emails you from a case and you reply, your response is automatically added to the notes. 

Your Support access is based on your level of investment with Blackbaud and may entitle you to contact Customer Support by phone or create a case on Case Central. If you have phone support, you can view their phone menu in Knowledgebase. Contact your account team for more information about your organization’s Support access.  

Along with their Knowledge Base, Blackbaud.com offers a wealth of other resources including their Communities and product documentation, which are available to all users. 

How You Can Help Blackboard Support

When you contact Blackboard Support you can help them get you back to work more quickly by:​

  • Providing details about your issue, including troubleshooting performed, steps to duplicate, and any additional information that can aid in resolving the issue​
  • Sharing context around your issue, such as user impact, deadlines, or other considerations

Blackbaud Support Hours

Their Support team is available 24/7 for mission-critical issues. For all other issues or questions, our Support associates are available Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. through 6 p.m. ET, with the exception of the following holidays:
