Where To Save Files When Using the GVSU WINLAB Environment

When to Use?

This KB instructs you where to save your files when using various applications within the WINLAB environment.

Procedure

  • Select your "Documents" folder and click "Save".

  • Alternately, you can drill down into your private drive and save there.  This is the same location that "Documents" is re-directed to and ultimately are located at the same network location.

DO NOT SAVE ANY FILES/DATA TO THE LOCAL C: DRIVE WHEN USING WINLAB.

Any locally saved data is not backed up and will not be available on subsequent logons.
