When to Use?
Currently there are two instances of Apporto; one for CyberLabs in specific CIS courses (CIS237, CIS258, CIS280, CIS33701, CIS33702, CIS338, CIS371, CIS375, CIS380, CIS430, CIS455, CIS456, CIS45701, CIS45702, CIS45703, CIS458, CIS480, CIS51101, CIS51102, CIS555, CIS616, CIS617, CIS654, CIS680), and one for courses using ArcGIS and other GPU intensive programs through Geography and Biology. Only students in those courses will have access.
Accessing CyberLabs (CIS courses only)
For CIS courses using the the CyberLabs you will see a link in your BlackBoard Shell to your virtual machine. That link will sign you into your virtual host, please be patient as it may take a moment for your host to start up. Once in the environment you will see a screen like this:
