Problem
When using a bookmark to get to Blackboard, an error screen with Authentication Provider is Disabled: GVSU CAS is displayed.
Environment
The issue can be found on any operating system and using any browser if attempting to connect to GVSU's Blackboard environment using a bookmark with an outdated URL.
Resolution
To fix the issue, please remove the bookmark in your browser.
Use the Bb icon on www.gvsu.edu or go directly to lms.gvsu.edu to connect to the Blackboard login page.
Cause
The issue is caused by an outdated URL bookmarked in the personal browser that is no longer valid. Bookmarks to Blackboard should only have lms.gvsu.edu in them to avoid this issue in the future.
