Just like in macOS, iPhone and iPad have a built in export or “print to PDF”-like feature. You can access this via the Share menu’s Print option.
Note that different app developers may have added a few additioanl features that may add an additional step or two. We’ll cover this further on in the article.
Procedure

- In the file you want to convert, find the Share button (a box with an arrow pointing up).

- Tap the Print button. (You may need to tap a View More button first).

- In the print options menu, tap the Share button again.

- Choose the destination for your PDF, which might include:
- Outlook for attaching to an Email
- The OneDrive app for saving to the cloud
- Or any other apps you might need to use with this PDF
Notes on Microsoft Office 365 Apps
With a focus on live collaboration, finding the print menu within apps like Word, Excel and PowerPoint involve a few extra steps:
- Find and the Share button

- Out of the new choices, tap Share

- Instead of entering in emails or people to share the document with, tap Send a Copy

- Tap Share as PDF

- Choose the destination for your PDF, which might include:
- Outlook for attaching to an Email
- The OneDrive app for saving to the cloud
- Or any other apps you might need to use with this PDF
