What is the GVSU Housing Knowledge Base?
First of all, thank you for taking the time to learn more about our new system, the Knowledge Base! We are excited to share this tool with you and hope that it makes finding that important information easier than ever.
The GVSU Housing Knowledge Base is, essentially, a database that stores helpful articles. In simpler terms, it is as if we mashed together a blog and an FAQ page. In the Knowledge Base, you will be able to find many GVSU Housing-related processes, how-to articles, policies, FAQs, and more! Another great feature of our new Knowledge Base is that it is 100% searchable. No more having to search the entire GVSU site to only find no search results or outdated information.
Since the Knowledge Base will serve as our primary database for housing information, much of the same information has been pulled from our website. But don’t worry, you will be able to quickly access the Knowledge Base via the many links from our new housing website.
With that said, you may have noticed that the Housing section of the GVSU website has changed quite a lot. That is because we wanted to make it easier for you to research the styles and communities you are interested in without having to click through multiple menus. In short, you should be able to save time finding the exact information you are looking for. Now, with this change, we know that it may cause some frustration and we ask you to bear with us as we fix any issues that may arise.
