When to Use?
MathWorks provides free 20hour credits for use by students who need the MATLAB application. Users do not need to install the application and can run their work on the online platform.
Procedure
Step 1: Create an online MathWorks account here or log in if you already have an existing one.
Step 2: Log in to MathWorks and click on the MATLAB icon
Step 3: Launch the MATLAB online version by clicking the MATLAB online basic icon. If asked to link a license, skip this part by clicking No Thanks!
Step 4: Students will then get access to a regular MATLAB window as shown below:
Step 5: To run your lab sessions, students will need to upload their data files and scripts to the MATLAB drive. In order to access it, go to the user profile>> my account and click MATLAB drive.
Step 6: Students can then do all file management on their drive by uploading and downloading from their computer from the menu bar as shown below:
