When to Use?
Has your instructor set up a Padlet board as an assignment? This article will walk students through how to record a video to a Padlet board that has been given to them by their instructor.
Procedure
1. Click on the Padlet content from Blackboard

2. Content may be posted by dragging files onto your Padlet board, double-clicking anywhere on the screen, or pressing the red plus button at the bottom of your screen.
3. Select the option for "More Attachment Types" on the right.

4. Choose the 'Video Recorder" option or "Screen Recorder" option if you want to record your screen.
NOTE: You will need to install a browser extension to use the "Screen Recorder" option.

5. If this is the first time you have used Padlet to record, you may need to approve access for your browser to record video and audio.

6. Start the recording by clicking the red record button.

7. Click the same button to stop or pause your recording. You can choose to resume the recording, or if you are finished, click the "Playback and Save" option in the top right.

8. Click "Save" to finish your recording.
9. The recording preview will display in the post. Enter a Subject in the subject line, and a description if needed.
10. Click "Publish" to submit the post on the Padlet Board.
