When to Use?
When using the Altium software in Propeller Engineering Lab environment or student personal device.
Procedure
Students can get a free Altium license by enrolling for free on this link.
Insert your details as shown in the image below
Start the verification process and select the option of you can't find your institution as shown below.
Input your school issued email in the next step for you to receive an activation code.
A verification code will be sent to your email. On your browser, click the back arrow and go back to the academic status verification page then select i have an activation code page as shown below:
Input the verifcation code that was sent in your email and verify. Once complete, the following page will be displayed signifying a successful registration.
Students will then receive a link to verify their student emails on the email they used to enroll.
Students then receive an email to set up an altium live account which they can use to sign in onto altium and altium 365 cloud.
Students can then download altium onto their own windows 64 bit devices or use their altium live accounts to log in to the application on Propeller.
To sign in on Propeller or on your own device please follow the steps below.
- Open the Altium software.
- Sign in with your altium live credentials and then click on the a license management option, go a head and click on that.
- Once signed in, you will see a list of license that you are entitled to.
- Select the use option to use your license or to release it once you are done.
