When to Use?
Gradebooks in merged courses can be filtered by section for instructor convenience.
Procedure
There is no direct way to see the child's course a student belongs to once the courses have been merged. There are a couple of options and features within Blackboard that allow you to see which child course the student is enrolled in. One option would be to look at the roster within Banner to see which child's course a student is enrolled in.
Another option would be to use the filter option within the gradebook. In the gradebook, select "grades". Then you will see a filter option.
Selecting the "filter" option in the gradebook of a merged course will bring up the option to sort by the child courses.
The last option would be to download the gradebook. You can download the gradebook following the Kb article here and select "Import/Export the Gradebook and Grade History". Once you download the gradebook, there will be a column for child courses!
