Body

When to Use?

This Spring/Summer 2025 semester, we invite faculty to pilot new generative AI tools in our Blackboard stage environment. These tools are designed to support curriculum development and refresh efforts. The pilot will help us gather valuable insights to inform best practices and develop faculty-facing resources ahead of potential implementation in the production environment. As with all generative AI tools, effective prompting is essential, and any generated content should be carefully reviewed and refined before being incorporated into a course.

Before using the Blackboard AI Design Assistant, we recommend reviewing the GVSU AI Policy and visiting the GVSU AI website for guidance on responsible and ethical use of AI in teaching and learning.

Faculty interested in participating or learning more are encouraged to contact their eLearning Liaison for support and guidance.
