Another Version Already Installed

When to Use?

Another version of Lockdown Browser on a Mac computer will not allow the GVSU version from opening. You must “rename” the first version so that you can download, install and use the GVSU version.

Procedure

1. Open Finder on your Mac and select the Applications folder.
2. Locate the existing copy of Lockdown Browser.
3. Right-click to open the mouse menu.
4. Click Rename.
5. Rename the application to include version (School 1 Name).
6. Download and install the GVSU version. You can rename this second version as well.
