Housing Options:
Allendale options include 2-bed/2-person and 4-bed/4-person apartment units in South Apartments.
Downtown options include 1- and 2-person efficiencies in Winter Hall, and 1-bedroom, 2-bed/2-person, 3-bed/3-person and 4-bed/4-person bedroom units in Secchia Hall. Priority placement is given to Winter 2024 and Fall 2024 occupants of that community. Students residing in Allendale or off campus during those terms will only be placed downtown if space is available. If space downtown is unavailable, placement will be made in an Allendale apartment.
Housing Assignments:
Spring/1st 6 and 12 week placement begins in mid to late April. Placement information will be available on the myHousing portal. Summer/2nd 6 week assignments may not be available until early June depending on availability.
Although Spring/Summer's overall occupancy is much lower than during Fall and Winter semesters, frequent changes are common due to the extra complexity of placements and a very tight turnaround between semesters. Don't be surprised if your assignment changes at least once!
Housing staff work to minimize moves of residents who will be continuing on campus into Fall 2024 in the Spring/Summer communities. Spring/Summer placements prioritize the resident's Fall placement first, then Winter semester placement. Spring/Summer placement will be made to match Fall 2024 placement whenever possible. For example: The Fall 2024 resident of South E 205 will get priority placement for that apartment when assignments are made for Spring/Summer.
Rates will be set in April and posted online when available.
