What you need to do

  1. Update your phone’s operating system (OS) (iOS or Android).
  2. Update the Duo Mobile app from your device’s app store.
  3. If you use Duo on a tablet or secondary device, update that device too.

iPhone / iPad (iOS / iPadOS)

Android

Step 2: Update the Duo Mobile app

iPhone / iPad (App Store)

Android (Google Play Store)

If you can’t update

  • If your phone cannot be updated to a supported OS version, you may need to upgrade your device.
  • In some cases, you may still be able to authenticate using SMS passcodes or phone call (these methods do not rely on the Duo Mobile app). Contact IT Services for help determining the best option.
