When to Use?
This is a guide on how to acquire an annual license to access the JMP Pro Student Software. This must be done by all community users intent on using the software be it Students, Faculty or Researchers.
Procedure
Step 1: Community members can start the verification process by following this link and clicking on "Get started at My JMP as shown below:
Step 2: On the form that appears next, click on sign up if you are registering for the first time, otherwise input your institutional email and click verify
Step 3: Existing users will be sent a code on their email to verify their login attempt while new registrations will be sent a code to confirm registration as shown below:
Step 4: Approved users will be re-directed to their JMP portal where they will be able to download the software packages for both Mac and Windows.
Step 5: New users will need to verify with the code sent to their email and accept the terms of use. New users will have to verify their status to JMP using the web-form below. All the fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.
Step 6: Once completed, the authentication provider will review your status and grant you access for as long as you are qualified. This should not take more than 24hrs within which they may request additional information to confirm your affiliation with GVSU.
Step 7: Once approved, you can log in to your portal and download the software accordingly as shown below:
Step 8: Once Installed the application, the user will need to verify and authorize the use of their license on the computer where they installed the application as shown below:
Step 9: Since this license is owned by the registered individual, users are encouraged to logout or deauthorize the use of their license from lab computers and or instructor podiums before closing out the application by clicking on Help>>Deauthorize as shown:
