When to Use?

If you are using a GVSU Save/VitalSource eBook in your Blackboard course and want to use it with a Hypothesis assignment, this guide will provide step-by-step instructions for setting up and configuring the assignment in your course.

Procedure

Before you set up your Hypothesis assignments, the VitalSource eBook must be available in your course. Follow the instructions from your GVSU e-Learning liaison to set up your VitalSource eBook via the Content Market in Blackboard. GVSU Save materials must be visible to students.

Important Note on Inclusive Access and Hypothesis: The instructions from your GVSU e-Learning liaison will contain information that you must communicate to students regarding opting out of Inclusive Access. If you plan on using Hypothesis in your course, you will need all students to use the VitalSource eBook so that everyone can participate in annotation activities.
