When to Use?
A Stop Sign "unexpected error" occurs when opening the Respondus Dashboard Tool for some courses.
Procedure
If a Stop Sign "unexpected error" occurs when you open the Respondus Dashboard Tool for some courses (but not others) it may be caused by one of the following:
- There is an unacceptable symbol (emoji) in the course title.
- There is an unacceptable symbol (emoji) in one of the test/quiz titles.
You need to check the title of the course, as well as all the titles of each quiz in that course. If you find these types of symbols (emojis), you must edit them out.
When checking for these, be sure to use multiple browsers. Firefox tends to display them more successfully than Chromium-based browsers (e.g. Chrome, Edge).
