Grading a Test by Question
An instructor can view a question and grade it for all students subsequently.
Grading an Assignment with a Rubric
Instructors can grade using a Rubric.
Default Cell Status in Grid View
Previously, this was by default set to "grade now" even if there was no submission to be graded. This has since been set to a blank to reflect that there currently is no submission to be graded by default.
Increased Visibility of the Move Button in Grade Book
This option was previously not obvious for instructors in case they needed to re-order grade book items. instructors had to hover their cursor over the general area in order for it to appear. It is now set to appear permanently. in order to re-order items, instructors should hold on to the move button, and drag and drop the item in their preferred location.
Bulk Download of Anonymous Submissions
Downloading submissions for offline viewing was not available for anonymously graded assessments.
Selecting download submissions generates a download-able zip folder for the instructor.
Once the zip file is ready, the system sends a message with a link to the instructor. Instructors can access the message from messages and select the link to download the ZIP file.
Assessment Submission Receipt Improvements
Students have a lot more information on their submission receipts. The information includes:
- course name and ID
- assessment name
- Submission size - only included for file-based assessments and tests with essay questions
- Auto-submit indicator - Present only if the assessment is automatically submitted by Learn as part of a timed assessment or the "prevent late submission setting"
The additional information can be seen on the submission window
The download-able text file from the submission window.
The automatic email confirmation.
Rubrics Editing Improvements
Instructors can edit any rubric not yet used for grading. In the past, selecting outside of an editable area would save edits and automatically exit out of edit mode. This made selecting text and editing rubrics difficult. Now, if users select text inside the rubric edit box and drag out of the edit box, the edit mode does not close.
