Create a Comment Library for Grading

Summary

This article will show you how to create and post comments while grading using Blackboard Annotate, the inline grading tool.

Body

When to Use?

Blackboard Annotate, the inline grading tool in Blackboard, now allows you to create a comment library. This lets you save a library of reusable comments and feedback to learners and stored within Blackboard for easy addition while grading!

NOTE: Comments and feedback are connected to your Blackboard account, not an individual course. This means you can utilize comments and feedback across all of your courses.

Procedure

Create a Comment

1. To create a comment for the comment library, open a student’s paper to grade in Blackboard.

2. Click the Comment Library icon (looks like books) in the far right of the menu bar along the top.
