When to Use?

Follow these steps to show a classroom document camera to remote participants on a Zoom call.

Supported ELMO Camera Models: OX-1 / MX-1 / MX-P / MX-P2 / PX-10 / PX-10E / PX-30 / PX-30E / TT-12iD / TT-12W / TT-12F / TT-L1 / TT-X1 / MO-1 / MO-1w / MO-2 / MA-1

Procedure

  1. Power on the Elmo Document Camera and the Instructor station computer.
  2. Log into the computer using <username>@office and your Network ID password.
  3. Double click the "Lab Applications" folder on the desktop.


     
  4. In the window that opens, scroll down and double click the "NON_DEPARTMENTAL" folder.


     
  5. Double Click the "Image Mate + C1.4 folder.


     
  6. The Image Mate + C application will open in your browser.


     
  7. Click the "Do not show this again" check box and close the disclaimer pop up.


     
  8. A pop up will appear. Select "Allow" button to allow the application to access the Elmo Camera.


     
  9. A Live image from the Elmo Document Camera will appear in a display window. 
    1. If a live image from the Elmo Document Camera does not appear. Follow the steps for How to share a Document Camera during a Zoom Session (Older models). 
       
    2. If the live image from the Elmo Document Camera still does not appear please contact the IT Service Desk 331-2101.


       
  10. Position your document under the camera.
     
  11. In your Zoom session hover your cursor over the meeting window and select "Share Screen" icon.


     
  12. In the pop-up window, select the "Live Image - Image Mate" thumbnail.


     
  13. Click the "Share" button. 


     
  14. The live Elmo Document Camera image will now display with a green frame around it to indicate that it is being shared.


     
  15. To stop sharing, click the "Stop Sharing" icon in the upper right corner.
