Logging Into Zoom App (All Platforms)

This article is intended to give users a step by step guide on how to log into Zoom on all tech platforms that we support (MacOS, iOS, Windows, Android).

When to Use?

SSO or Single Sign On allows eligible GVSU faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students to access the Zoom platform with one login with these simple steps.

Procedure

Click or tap on each heading to expand instructions based on the platform you are using.

MacOS

Open the zoom app and click on SSO.
If zoom prompts for the domain of the company put: gvsu-edu

This will redirect to a login screen. Enter your GVSU credentials and click continue
After that it should log you into Zoom automatically. If "Do you want to allow this page to open "Zoom.us"?" pops up, click Allow

iOS

Download the Zoom app off the App Store.
Click Sign In.
Click "Sign in with SSO"
If it asks for a domain put: gvsu-edu
Click Continue.
This should bring up a safari browser for GVSU login. Enter your GVSU credentials and click continue.
Safari will ask to open the App, click Allow/Open.

Windows

Open Zoom App and click Sign In
Click SSO
Enter gvsu-edu for the domain
This should open a browser for you to login to. Enter your GVSU credentials and click Continue
The browser should prompt you to allow zoom to open, click Open

Android

Download the Zoom App from the App Store
Click sign in
Click Sign In with SSO
If it asks for a domain put "gvsu-edu" click Continue
This will redirect to the GVSU login page. Enter your GVSU credentials and click continue
